Do you consider yourself a High Performer?

Now what does that mean?

High Performance is when you take multiple problems and try to solve them simultaneously.

Sounds like a great way to approach life right? Well, let me tell you it’s not that easy.

One of the problems High Performers encounter is what I like to call the ‘blind-spot syndrome’ (totally made that up, but you’ll understand what I mean soon).

Now, besides High Performing, there’s another major pathway to problem-solving: The Ostrich Method.

The Ostrich Method says:

- “Work on your income”

Or

- “Work on your body”

Or

- “Work on your social skills”

Or

- “Work on your dating life”

And so on…

Never ALL at the same time…

But you know winning at one thing isn’t enough. Life is multifaceted.

You need to make progress in multiple fields to have a well-rounded life and reach peak fulfillment.

High Performers

The margin for error increases as a system gets more intricate.

This is where “blind spots” come in. A blind spot is simply a key detail you’re missing that causes you to experience the same problem over and over again in one area, which likely leaks to other areas.

This is not a problem of execution, but a problem of technique and awareness.

Blind spots are often difficult to see as they tend to be attached to some sort of sentiment or an emotion that the individual is unwilling to acknowledge and so prefers to postpone addressing.

Blind spots are inevitable for all High Performers.

The more things you’re working on, the more blind spots you’ll have.

You might have experienced this yourself.

Focusing on more than one thing at a time makes you mess one up.

For example:

You might be trying to improve your social life while at the same time running a successful business...

What will happen is that some people who will enter your life will be parasitic. However, most High Performers will miss this due to their ‘accelerated type’ schedule... paying little to no attention to the ulterior motives of those around them. This was the case with a client.

Blind spots are incredibly tricky to pinpoint.

This is where I come in !
